Describe the setting(s) in the story. Can you make any connections to the places(s)? - The setting in the story so far is a court roomand a prison in the beginining. Ive had several connections with a courtroom but not a prison. Ive been in courtrooms several times just in circumstances as bad as him but i have been in the same environment. From when i was a kid going to court to my father because he had some tickets, to me growing up and have to go face the judge several times for my mistakes. Ive went through similar events as him like where hes seeing what everybodys wearing and also when the guard comes in and orders everyone to rise because the judge is walking in. Also to where the judge is explaining that shes going to ackoledge us as humans to when it comes to your concequence while letting you know the states guidelines to get you your proper concequence.

If you could step into this story, What is the first thing you would do? -If i was in his position i would go through the whole court process and plead not guilty until the end of my sentencing. I wouldnt get disrespectful with the judgeand lets just say i get convictedand get sentencedto life in priosonwith parole, i would do my time and try my best to stay to myself to an extent because then again its prison. so im going to get cora checked right off the bat because i got a astros star tattoo on my body and tango blast owns that placa in prison. So thats gonna be a problem even though im hispanic im getting cora checked regardless. But other than that im just gonna try to stay on good behavior so i dont mess my parole up and end up staying longer then my actual sentencing. I would keep my circle small but really tight with some real trustworthy people and i know would have my back, which is kind of hard to find but i know there out there.

Have you ever been in a situation where things were not as you expected? How were you able to deal with the situation? As you look back, are you happy with how you handled the situation? - A situation has I've been in where things arent as I expected is college. I had the mindset that college is like high school where you can slack off during the week and still pass but boy was I in for an eye-opener. It was nothing like high school I got overflowed with homework and though I could finish it the Sunday night it was due and happened to fail that whole semester. The way I dealt with it was learning how to manage my time because at first, I had no time management and that hurt me drastically in class. When I look back and see how I handled the situation I'm proud of how I went about it because now I'm succeding and got it all down on how and when to turn my work in.

From what you have read so far, what predictions can you make? What makes you think what will happen next? - I read to page 20 and so far it appears about a boy that was trying to commit a robbery and ended up with a murder charge.  So right now he's in court facing the judge and he scans the courtroom questioning his attorney if it looks like he's gonna win and the attorney replies whats his example of winning. Because there are different meanings of winning such as life with parol other than life without parole or 30 years instead of the death penalty. But my prediction is he's going to get convicted and get a life sentence which is 45 years with parol and he's going to write about everything that happens in there until his parole date because he did mention that he was writing a movie in his journal. But then again it is a murder charge and he sounds like a minor so he could get a more minor sentence due to him possibly being a minor. /

In some high schools, many teachers and parents have encouraged the school to adopt a dress code that sets guidelines for what students can wear in the school building. Some teachers and parents support a dress code because they think it will improve the learning environment in the school. Other teachers and parents do not support a dress code because they think it restricts the individual student's freedom of expression. In your opinion, should high schools adopt dress codes for students? I think students should be able to wear what they want to an extent, meaning they can wear their own outfits as long as it follows the dress code. Example profanity on a t-shirt that's an example of failure to comply with the dress code. If you want to wear jeans and a  t-shirt I think you should be able to. I've been in schools that required dress code in elementary and it was a pain its more simple and faster, cheaper to be able to wear what's in your everyday wardrobe. Instead of ...

A  personal experience i had one time was about a couple months ago. i had recoeved a email from shell and they were asking if i wanted to go out of town to make more money in louisana for a couple of months. Me personally i was seconds guessing it because i wouldnt have been able to be here for thanksgiving, which has always been a big thing in my family. so i was obviously skeptical about the whole situation but i knew if i have went i would be able to buy my girlfriend my mom and dad what they really wasnted for christmas because i would be back in time so i pulled the trigger and went out of town. it wasnt as bad as i though it would have been but it was well worth it. Me and my family were well taken care of during the christmas and new years time even current day it was one of the hardest decisions ive made in my entire life due to me being away from my parents and girlfriend for several months and working 7 days out of the week for that time i was out there. When i returned ...
