Writing blog entry 5

 yes ive went on a trip where it changed the way i look at my life in general. I went to my tias house in the valley and ive never met this lady till then. Well when i was down there her house was decent but it had little huddles around and thats where everybody else slept there was bugs everywhere inside the house, there was houses that werent complete that were just left but still being used and thats what we slept in it was a very small room that i had to share with my cousin that lived down there. His room was litterally the kitchen and the washroom, it was out of my comfort zone although i didnt judge them it was still kinda weird. To me it was like outdated there was no wifi there was no sign of current technology but one thing i noticed was even though they werent as fortunate as the most of us they were extremley happy people. They will greet you in the morning with menudo, pozole and they were all talkitive they will all hold a conversation with anyone. Even though they didnt live in the best conditions they were proud of whatbthey had and it really opened my eyes all this time i was taking what i had for grantite and i still wasnt happy. I felt really selfish and sick of myself for the way i was thinking now i take everything i own or know and run with it i ackoledge everything and wake up being thankful for my lifestyle and my belongings. Moral of the story is while were here on are ipads and iphones not everybody has that luxury, so we should all be thankful for what we have.

    This was very enlightening , i think we all take our lives for granted some times , its good to be able to admit we arent perfect.

 I had this teacher named ms finley in the 3rd grade and me, and she had an excellent bond because around that time, I got a disease in my spine, and I was paralyzed for a few months and went fully blind. So while I was In the hospital for about 5 months, she would go and visit me every couple of weeks, and it meant a lot to me because she actually cared and she had got all my classmates to make me get well soon cards, and it really meant a lot to me. To this day, I have so much respect for her and will never forget who she is and what she did for me. And when I had got released from the hospital, she caught me up on all my work and got my grades up, and she would constantly be checking up on me even outside of school. She was a really positive teacher. Without her, I would have probably bombed that school year and fallen behind on my grades, so she really impacted my younger success.

Writing blog entry 7

 There is a goal that I set and achieved to graduate high school. I've established that goal since I was a kid in elementary school. I would tell my parents that I would walk that stage one day and get my diploma, which I technically achieved. Besides that walking the stage partly because I graduated in 2020 when covid first came, and everyone was virtual. Therefore, I couldn't walk the stage, but I did receive my diploma on time. I felt a significant relief when I achieved what I always wanted. I felt unstoppable and very happy for myself. It was worth all those hard times in school. It had all paid off.
